Megan Tweed is a first-year MPP student currently working as a public policy coordinator with the American Gastroenterological Association, a non-profit professional medical association in Bethesda, MD. She received her Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude in Communications and International Studies with a double minor in Spanish and Fine Arts from Niagara University. Megan developed an interest in international policy while studying abroad in Spain. She is also interested in communications, global health, and environmental policy. Megan previously worked at Roswell Park Cancer Institute as a special events/ social media intern and for the Niagara Purple Eagles Men’s Hockey team as an audio/ visual intern. Additionally, Megan has worked at Wegmans Food Markets where she held numerous supervisory positions in customer service. Megan grew up in Niagara Falls, NY, where she enjoyed many extracurricular activities such as field hockey and snowboarding. Megan also has a love for animals and currently volunteers at the Washington Animal Rescue League in Northeast DC.
