Resident Editors

Resident editors work with graduate student authors to review online submissions, polish writing, and provide suggestions before publication. REs edit pieces for the Online Edition throughout the year and edit articles for the Print Journal each spring.

Columnists

Columnists join the PPJ team to write regularly for the Online Edition on weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly submission schedules. Columnists work with editors to finalize their submissions before publication, determine the topics for their own pieces, and are welcome to submit articles to the Print Journal each spring.

Authors

Any graduate student enrolled at the School of Public Affairs can submit an article for publication in the Online Edition anytime throughout the year! Authors work with editors to finalize their pieces for online publication and are welcome to submit pieces at their own frequency.

The Print Journal accepts article submissions from SPA graduate students from the end of each fall through the start of the spring semester. These articles are peer-reviewed by PPJ editors and faculty reviewers before publication in SPA’s graduate student academic journal.

To learn more about the Journal and how to get involved as a Resident Editor, Columnist, or Author, join us at one of our upcoming events, check out our Online Submission Guide, or email our team at publicpurposejournal@gmail.com.
